I’m excited to say that my Northwest Magic series, which I had intended to solely self-publish, has found a home with a publisher! I’ll have more news about that in a few weeks, but I can confirm now that the first book, Alexandra’s Riddle, will be releasing in Spring 2019 rather than this fall, to accommodate the publisher’s schedule. I’m shooting for March or April, with Arriving from Arkansas then coming in May, and either Old Flames or the heretofore unannounced Fool’s Gold being the next book in the Northwest Magic series (still undecided as to which I’ll do first). The second Northwest Magic book will hopefully be released in the summer, depending on my schedule.
I’m hoping to get four books out in 2019, either the three Northwest Magic books and one Pioneer Brides book, or two Northwest Magic, one Pioneer Brides, and a mystery project.
After Alexandra’s Riddle, Old Flames and Fool’s Gold are released, I’ll take a step back and evaluate what I’d like to do next. If Northwest Magic does well, I have ideas for two more books in the series; if not, I’ll stop with those three and jump into either The One That Got Away (contemporary romantic comedy) or the Treasure of Cinque Taere series (historical romantic suspense), which is planned to be a trilogy. I also am planning on at least one more book with Sweet Promise Press, though that needs to stay under wraps for now. 😉
So that’s my tentative publishing schedule for 2019 and moving into 2020!
